The Emir of State of Qatar His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, allowed the Christians residing in the State of Qatar, to establish their own churches in Qatar for religious worship. The Government of Qatar has also allocated land for the construction of buildings for religious worship to the member Churches of Inter Denominational Christian Church - IDCC. (Registration No.11-7532-00). |

There are 28 member churches within IDCC, including Apostolic and Evangelical Churches. St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church representing the Syro Malabar Community in Qatar is the largest Church among the IDCC members. The government has provided, through IDCC, two resident visas for the priests of our community. |

Four co-coordinators selected from the Member Churches supervise the management of IDCC. St. Thomas Syro Malabar Church is presently holding the position as Chief Coordinator of IDCC. |
